Director and video artist. Graduated from design at UBA (University of Buenos Aires). He thinks of his work as audiovisual questions and answers he develops when he hast the desire to understand something. He gets inspired by the movement of people, his own movement, the appropriation of space and the attempt to trying to understand the way we, as humans, create a sense of belonging. His work has been shown at Festivals like 63 Oberhausen Short Film Festival, VIENNALE (Vienna International Film Festival), 66 Trento International Film Festival, Uppsala International Short Film Festival, among others, and exhibitions such as, Itau Visual Arts Prize Casa Nacional del Bicentenario, Buenos Aires, (2019); Síntomas y desplazamientos Museo de Arte Provincial Franklin Rawson, San Juan, Argentina (2018), it was also available in the author cinema streaming platform MUBI. He works in the experimental film program of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires.

PABLO RADICE

BIOGRAPHY:

Designer of Image and Sound at the University of Buenos Aires and teacher in the field of audiovisual project II. He works in the areas of photography, video, sound and image installations. His first short film Twins obtain more than 20 international awards and was nominated in the Student Academy Awards. He has exhibited his variety of works in national and international festivals and museums obtaining important prizes. Pablo worked as an assistant and perform clinic with argentine artists such as Juan Pablo Ferlat, Gabriel Valansi, Carlos Trilnick. Selected as Director at Berlinale Talents BA (2017). Participated as a Jury at the Berlin Experimental Film Festival, Germany, the CIBA CILECT International Festivals. During 2018 he made a short film in the Peruvian Amazon under the tutoring of Werner Herzog.

The final year editing student of Lodz Film School, absolutely devoted to documentary film making. Worked on bunch of short films as an editor and love how wide opportunities documentaries give to the filmmaker. Also, works on fiction films and video clips. Apart from editing, she has been developing few documentaries as a director, especially the longest-term project Microcosms. The idea came from the photo of one village down in south-east Poland, captured by NASA astronaut. Shooting took already 2 years and it is going to be finished in 2019. Dorota is mostly interested in what is unusual in commonness.

Paraskevi Loi is born in Athens in 1996. She has been a student in Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos. She has worked as assistant director and editor in many film projects such as short and feature films, documentaries and commercials. In November 2016 she directed her first short movie Through a lens darkly, a comedy between two sisters. In October 2017 she created a documentary film about beatbox in Greece and in July 2018 she participated in the looking China project. She travelled and stayed in China, to create her documentary based on a Chinese folk traditional kind of painting.

Guido Amadeo Nucci (1989) was born in Bariloche and lives there until he was 19 years old. He moved to Córdoba where he studied Film and TV and developed the first university short films. Since 2015 he has been part of the Periferia Cine production company, where he works as cinematographer of the feature film Construcciones by Fernando Restelli. He currently makes the animated short film Carlos Montaña, Bachelor thesis of the Film and TV career under the role of Director of photography. He worked in Gualicho rock stoner documentary in postproduction stage, where he also served as Director of Photography.

She was born on 12/29/1993 in Misiones, Arg. Since 2013 she studies Image and Sound Design (UBA). In 2014 she directed Jasy Porã and obtained a scholarship to study Cinematography at CUEC (Mexico). Since 2016 she works as cinematographer in Testimonios. In 2017 she made the short film Correspondencia I at the EICTV (Cuba). In 2018 she participated as a director and cinematographer at Talents Buenos Aires and obtained a scholarship to study at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, Portugal. She is an assistant professor in the subject Theory and Aesthetics of Media at FADU.

Rahul Rabha is final year student of Sound Recording and Sound Designing at Film and Television Institute of India, Pune (FTII). His journey in filmmaking started in December of 2013 when he first got selected among the all other candidates for the film school. Before that he graduated from the Electronics and Communication Engineering, from Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar Assam. Since his childhood he was always amazed by cartoons and animation, and used to wonder about the back processes of the audio visual art forms. So in the final year of his studies he decided to attend film school and gave himself an opportunity to excel in the field of filmmaking. The very first year of the film school was the most exciting part in his life. In the first year he got introduced to the various tools and equipments for shooting films and for the first time in the studies he handled film cameras, steenback editing machines, spool recorders, etc. and used to play around with these tools during the collage exercises. This period of time was very helpful to understand the work field. When he got into specialization in very next year and since tan began to understand the value of Sound in filmmaking, he started to develop personal learning curve according to his understanding. Afterwards with the help of his friends and seniors he started practicing independently all along with collage exercises. Also, he got the opportunities to work in various independent films and to meet many personalities from whom he learnt a lot. Rahul believes in learning from the people around. He hopes this Interaction program will help a student like him to explore, learn and expand knowledge in the field of filmmaking.
