“Flaklaud” concert
The concert played by “Flaklaud” ensemble
from Belgrade was held at the Pozega Cultural Centre on Friday, 30 July,
at 8 pm. The members of “Flaklaud” are Jovan Krstic – kaval, flute and
vocals, Ana Mladenovic – flute, Marija Sabljic – piano and vocals and
Andrija Sagic – percussion. At the concert called “Music from the
Balkans for piano”, there were two sets – “Serbian tradition in the
Balkans” and “Balkan tradition for piano”.

5th International Student Film Camp “Interaction 2010” is
open
The opening ceremony of 5th
International Student Film Camp “Interaction 2010” was held at the
Pozega Cultural Centre, on 28 August 2010. 20 students at film academies
from 14 different countries are taking part in the camp this year. Dejan
Petrovic, general manager of the Independent Film Centre “Filmart”,
introduced the participants of this year’s Interaction to the audience
pointing out how important it is to recognize the filmmaking of the
young and to establish connections between different cultures.
Students of directing, cinematography, sound design, production and
editing from 14 countries are going to search for the film topic in
Pozega, Uzice, Cacak and Arilje and then shoot four documentaries on the
theme “Heritage”. The films are going to be screened at the closing
ceremony of the camp, Rex Cultural Centre in Belgrade, film academies
they attend and a lot of film festivals, as well.
Milovan Micovic, Pozega Mayor, said that the Municipality of Pozega
promotes Pozega in terms of international communications and helps the
filmmaking of the young be recognized by supporting the IFC “Filmart”
camp together with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and
Central European Initiative.
During the camp in Pozega, there are also some accompanying activities
such as film screenings, culture presentations of the countries that
have their representative in the camp and a photo exhibition
“Interaction – the first five years” in the Pozega Art Gallery.
The concert played by
“Flaklaud” ensemble from Belgrade is going to take place on 30 July.

5th International Student Film Camp “INTERACTION 2010”
5th International Student Film Camp “Interaction 2010”
which is organized by the Independent Film Centre “Filmart” and
supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, Central
European Initiative and the Municipality of Pozega is going to be held
from 27th July to
14th August
2010.
20
students at film academies from 16
countries (Mexico, India, Pakistan, Russia, Denmark, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Palestine, Germany, France, Great
Britain, Lithuania, Romania, Croatia and Serbia) divided into 4 crews
are going to make 4 documentaries, inspired by the countryside and
people from Pozega, Uzice, Cacak and Arilje. The theme of this year’s
camp is “Heritage”.
Film production, as the main activity of the camp is going to be
accompanied by “INTERscreen” and “INTERface” programmes.
In
cooperation with the cultural centres and embassies of the participating
countries, the participants are going to present the culture of the
country they come from within the programme “INTERface”. The
participants are doing it through music, film, dance, poetry, etc.
The films made by this year’s participants and those produced at
Serbian film academies as well as CILECT selection of the best student
films are going to be screened within “INTERscreen” programme at the
Pozega Cultural Centre Movie Theatre (CILECT - International Association
of Film and Television Schools).
Day trips to Mokra Gora, Sirogojno and the Ovcar-Kablar Gorge will
help the participants to get to know natural and cultural potentials as
well as the lovely countryside of Western Serbia during their stay
there.
The films made during the camp are going to be screened at the closing
ceremony in Pozega on 12th August and a day later at REX, B92
Cultural Centre in Belgrade. The films are also going to be screened at
Serbian and foreign film academies, towns which support the project and
cultural centres in Diaspora. The best films made during the camp are
going to be sent to film festivals all around the world. |

Competition
eligibility:
Your application will be taken into consideration if you are:
·
a student of film production, directing, cinematography, sound design or
editing
·
experienced in documentary film production
·
fluent in English and
·
send correctly filled in the application form along with your photo and
the copy of the film in production of which you took part in during your
studies.

After the application deadline, the selection jury will consider the
applications, select the candidates and list the names of the
participants. The students chosen to take part in this year’s camp will

“Back portrait” at 57th Belgrade Documentary and Short Film
Festival
“Back
portrait” was screened in the official programme, experimental film
category of 57th Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival
and the film was screened at the Belgrade Cultural Centre on Wednesday,
31 April at 5pm.

“Back portrait” at Zagrebdox
“Back
portrait”, a film that was made during 4th International
Student Film Camp “Interaction” was screened in the official programme
of the prestigious International Film Festival Zagrebdox (Zagreb, 28
February – 7 March 2010).
During the festival the film was screened three times at the Movieplex
cinema: Monday – 1 March at 6pm (hall 2), Wednesday – 3 March at 4pm
(hall 3) and Thursday – 4 March at 8pm (hall 4).
